Compensation
DCI's employee compensation package includes a base salary and the potential for a quarterly bonus.

Windows Programmer

Digital Control, Inc. is an industry leading international guidance system company.  Our Kent office is currently recruiting a full-time Windows Programmer to help develop and launch existing and new products that utilize Windows Embedded C++ and PC applications.

Individuals must be:

  • Proficient in C and C++
  • Experienced with Windows application programming
  • Experienced with Windows Embedded OS a plus
  • Experienced with embedded and real-time systems
  • Strong with verbal, documentation, and technical writing skills
  • DO-178B experience a plus

Bachelors degree required. 5+ years of related experience strongly preferred.


Software Engineer

Digital Control, Inc. is an industry leading international guidance system company. Our Kent office is currently recruiting a full-time Software Engineer to work on embedded software for DCI products using a 8051 processor.  This individual will also be involved in software development, documentation, verification and validation. They will also be key in the development and launch of an innovative new product through the FAA Certification process.

Candidates must be:

  • Proficient in C and C++
  • Experienced with RTOS
  • Have Real-time software development experience
  • DO-178B experience
  • Have strong verbal, documentation, and technical writing skills
  • Embedded Windows OS experience a plus
  • Experience with 8051 a plus
  • Validation & Verification experience a plus

Must have 5+ years of related experience as well as a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Experience with embedded systems strongly preferred.


Engineering and R&D Manager

Our Kent office is currently recruiting a full-time executive to manage our Research & Development and Engineering Group.

This experienced individual will take DCI’s engineering to the next level both strategically and tactically. They will manage daily operations in engineering and staff from technicians to high level professional engineers involved in supporting existing products and innovative research to develop new leading technology.

A Bachelors degree and 10+ years related experience in an electronics related industry required. Individual must be a strategic thinker in order to help our company grow as well as have the ability to successfully orchestrate engineering operations in a growing and ever changing environment. Strong communication, leadership and people skills required. Previous management and the ability to work with employees and management at all levels of the company an absolute must. Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, Masters and Executive Leadership Training strongly preferred.


Electrical Engineer

Stargate, Inc. is currently recruiting a full-time Electrical Engineer.

Qualified applicant will design and develop software for embedded microcontrollers to support on going and new product development.  Perform advanced analog and digital circuit design, and implement precision, high speed, low noise analog electronic circuitry and associated mixed signal interfacing circuitry.  Design analog and digital electronic designs for signal acquisition and processing and working with microcontrollers.  Work closely with members of the Development, Manufacturing, Production Test, and Customer Service teams, to analyze and resolve problems to ensure a successful transition of new products into the market place. 

Requirements: Requires Bachelor degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Electronics or related discipline, or foreign degree equivalent; and 5 years related electronic engineering experience including 2 years of embedded software and hardware experience. Experience may be gained concurrently.


Manufacturing Engineer

Our Kent office is currently recruiting a full-time Manufacturing Engineer.

This qualified individual will assume a hands on role as well as manage Manufacturing and Sustaining Engineering, Document Control and the release of new products.

Individual must have a degree in related engineering discipline and 8+ years of related work experience. Experience with ERP systems required. Candidates must demonstrate strengths in leadership as this position may grow and oversee other manufacturing divisions such as Quality Assurance. Ideal opportunity for engineer with a desire to grow into a leadership role.


Product Development Manager, General Aviation Autopilot

Our Kent office is currently recruiting a full-time Product Development Manager to lead, develop and launch an innovative new product through the FAA Certification process.

Individual should have 8+ years of experience with engineering of flight avionics equipment. Certification knowledge should include FAA DO-160/DO-178 or DOD equivalents. Education and hands-on design in a core engineering discipline (EE, SW, ME, AERO) and a proven track record of taking an aviation product through STC required. Piloting background desired.

Individual should have 4+ years of management experience in the aviation industry. Skills should include hiring of engineering personnel, cost/schedule planning, and strong technical leadership. Fluency with MS Office and MS Project desired.
